So every year we try to come up with something a bit different for our Christmas Greeting. Thankfully, I have kids that can help me with photo editing.
If it were up to me, we’d only hand out or rather send out electronic cards. That’s being green isn’t it? Oh well, I suppose we’ll cave and get some printed up to hand out.
Spent a little more time at work today. Made it all the way to 3 pm. Then I hit a wall. Came home and crashed on the couch for a bit. Just haven’t got the strength to make it through a whole day.
Went to watch our daughter’s highschool hockey team play. Close game, 2-1 loss. Stinking cold outside. Thank goodness our rink is relatively warm. I’m just chilled right through. Hot coffee is helping.
Feels good to get out though. There’s only so much sitting on the couch one can do. Some catching up to do at work. I’m still not moving too fast. Feeling way older than I am. All the staples and dressings are off now. Had a good look at the incisions. They’re a good 8 inches each. I’m starting to look a bit like a road map. Have a follow up appointment this Friday. I’m guessing it’s just a matter of waiting for things to heal from here on.
Christmas is right around the corner. It’s going to be a bit leaner this year. We had to buy ourselves a hot water tank this year. We’ll gather around the tank Christmas morning, put a big bow around it and call it Christmas…lol. Actually, there will be some practical gifts for the kids this year. I sure don’t miss those trips to Toys R Us to try and find the latest and greatest. On the bright side, we’re closing in on the date where the days start to get longer again! WooHoo!
Well, I think it’s time to call it a night…..
